Hello Clyn,

Thank you for your comment.

Assuming that you want to offer your authors a way to edit articles on the front end – you will need a front end editing plugin. We recommend using Visual Composer but you can use Elementor for this as well.

You can have 1000s of authors active and editing the posts. It all depends on how good your dedicated server resources are and how much traffic you are getting. If the traffic isn’t much (less than 10,000 uniques a day), a server with 8GB RAM and XEON processor will be able to handle all the requests without any hiccups.

Regarding the security issues, it all depends on how well your plugins and themes are coded. If they are secure, it doesn’t matter if you have 1 author or 1000 – your website will be secure. For added security, we recommend using WordFence.

We hope that this answers your query. Do not hesitate to get back to us if you have further questions.

Giving more information about roles in this post. My question is: I’m using user role editor and adminimize plugin to restrict some area for authors. Actually i want to add/edit post on frontend but some reason i cant use frontend form. What is the difference backend/frontend resources cpu usage when post add edit? I disable (Heartapi) … And what can be the other security or problem if 1000 or more authors work on admin side at same time (i have dedicated server)
